MINSK, 31 July (BelTA) – Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated King Mohammed VI of Morocco on the country’s national holiday — Throne Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state noted that the strong and balanced policy pursued by the leadership of Morocco allows maintaining stability, foster progress, and strengthen the country’s positions in the international arena.
“Belarus views Morocco as a promising partner in North Africa. We are interested in deepening political dialogue, stepping up trade, intensifying cooperation in the manufacturing industry, including petrochemical industry, as well as agriculture and food production, science, education. We are ready to support any promising initiatives aimed at expanding contacts between Minsk and Rabat,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished King Mohammed VI excellent health and many successes, and the people of Morocco peace and prosperity.
