Gomel turns 881!
The celebrations of the 881st anniversary of Gomel unfolded along the embankment of the Sozh River. The concert programs featured the Gomel city orchestras, the Minsk gypsy theater «Gypsy Band» and a Cossack song and dance company. Delegations from Russia’s Anapa, Voronezh, St. Petersburg and Kursk came to wish a happy birthday to the city.
