Belarus’ interior minister meets with PMC Wagner representatives

MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) – Belarusian Internal Affairs Minister Ivan Kubrakov has met with representatives of PMC Wagner, BelTA informs citing the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The meeting was held at the internal troops training center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The meeting was also attended by heads and employees of the ministry’s special forces.
Ivan Kubrakov noted that in view of the complicated situation at Belarus’ border, it is critical to be prepared to respond to possible challenges and threats. According to the minister, the practical experience that PMC Wagner fighters are sharing is of great importance, because ensuring security, law and order and protection of native land are the undeniable priorities for everyone who wears shoulder straps.
The participants of the meeting discussed interaction with the private military company and the training of fighters by its instructors. “The parties have come up with a clear action plan, exchanged views on the use of certain types of equipment,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
